The Human Heart

This project was a recent freelance I did for a German medical anatomy visualization studio.
It is a complete representation of an anatomically correct Human heart.
It was a great challenge for me because it needed to be modelled completely from the inside and the outside being one complete mesh, with all of its chambers and valves connected.
The more I analyzed it the more interesting it became, because it is, by itself, an amazing engine that could potentially keep us running for a 100 years + and the construction serves a very mechanical and ingenious function with almost alien like forms. It could be quite frightening when think about what immensely complex machines we actually are!
